London's premier party, for the slightly older party animal, is coming back to Nottingham for a summer party.

For nearly a decade now Don and Reg have been hosting sold out parties in London for those who do not want to go gentle in to that good night and are still fighting hard for their right to party! Don't tell the kids, but now they're doing it in Nottingham too!

The UKs biggest blink-182 tribute “One eighty two” are bringing you all the small things and more to this amazing night of pop punk bangers.

Formed in 2011, @blink182tribute are the most authentic representation of the pop punk legends blink-182.

Bringing decades of experience and smashing out more than 30 years of material, One Eighty Two will take you to California and back with an explosion of pop punk anthems.

Join us for a night of alternative music, featuring Nottingham’s most prominent up-and-coming bands: Cheap Dirty Horse; Gender Envy; How Do You Plead?; Retina: and Idiocy!

 

This event is one in a series of gigs hosted by Young Musicians for Palestine, in which all profits will be donated to MAP, PCRF and The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s fund, to provide aid for citizens of Palestine. Medical Aid for Palestinians, Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund.

Cages For Preachers celebrate the release of their debut album “The Sleep That Knows No Waking” in their hometown with their biggest headline event to date. Showcasing at Saltbox, Nottingham with supports to be announced!

Cages For Preachers from Nottingham, UK, are a grunge/Metal hybrid that blend the sounds of Alter Bridge, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Jeff Buckley.

Saltbox is happy to announced Special Friend with local supports to be announced!

Special Friend is a French/American indie-noise pop duo based in Paris. Formed in 2018 by Erica Ashleson (drums, vocals) and Guillaume Siracusa (guitar, vocals), after having met at a concert in Paris.

In 2019, they released a self-titled EP recorded in their rehearsal studio in two days, unveiling a singular sound of minimalistic indie noise-pop, recalling the likes of Yo La Tengo, Duster, and Electrelane.

PONS IS EARTH’S BEST BAND. New York’s premier no-wave-rock-n-roll experience, Pons has been blinding ears and searing minds since the group’s arrival on the scene in 2021.

 

Known for their unrelenting tours and explosive live performances, word of Pons has quickly spread due to their unconventional and controversial approach to live music known as “Body Connection.”

SAT 12 OCT

Marvin’s Revenge returns to shows in Nottingham, with their biggest headline show to date at Saltbox, bringing special guests for a whole afternoon of noise. You'll know the score if you’ve seen them lay waste to the Bodega and Rough Trade this year.

 

After playing shows all over the UK, Marvin’s are coming home to celebrate the release of a new single and inviting four local independent bands that need to be heard. Early bird tickets are just £6 for five bands! Look out in the coming weeks for announcements on the guests also performing.

The Wave Pictures

The Wave Pictures hit the road this October playing a selection of hits, songs from their new (unreleased) album along with old classics.

 

The album is a bluesy, boozy love letter to the guitar, filled with American Primitive instrumentals, John Lee Hooker chugs and Link Wray style minor-key surf music. Prepare to sooth those summertime blues!

Self-confessed joker and hooligan, Steve Parish delivers a very funny and informative evening talking about his life in motorsport and what it is like to be a superbike champion.

 

This will be a seated event with none reserved seating. Saltbox is wheelchair accessible.

Tortured Demon

Mangata Music proudly presents, Tortured Demon! Since 2018, Oldham brothers Jacob and Joe Parkinson have been launching a full-scale assault on the UK thrash scene. As founders of UK Thrashcore hopefuls Tortured Demon, they’ve independently released two albums, and worked with various members to bring their trademark live show to eyes and ears nationwide.

We are really excited to present British Alternative-Rock quartet Shadows of a Silhouette’s atmospheric new music looks to bring their dynamic take on Rock New Wave to the forefront.

 

Shadows of a Silhouette’s calls back to 2000s alternative influences such as Arctic Monkeys and The White Stripes - their music is comfortingly familiar yet uncannily new. 

Black Doldrums + Sam Shaw & The Real Eyes

SAT 16 NOV

Saltbox are proud to present a night with North London-based Black Doldrums who produce a dark psych, contemporary form of gothic post-punk.

 

Their debut album, Dead Awake released via Fuzz Club Records came out on the back end of 2022. Originally a duo founded by Sophie Landers (drums/vocals) and Kevin Gibbard (guitar/vocals) but now recently fleshed out to a trio with Matt Holt joining on bass, Black Doldrums deal in a dark, shoegazing psych that melds gothic post-punk with a leather-clad rock’n’roll spirit.

Mangata Music Presents:  Sergeant Thunderhoof  Syncolima  Support TBC  Sergent Thunderhoof are on tour!!

 

With popular songs such as 'You've Stolen the Words' and 'Devils Daughter' from their second album 'The Sceptred Veil'. The psychedelic, groove rock band from the dark realms of Somerset are coming to Nottingham this November.

Join us  at Saltbox for a mesmerising music event, featuring Mollie Ralph, a talented artist with a powerful voice that effortlessly transitions between tender and ferocious. Ralph broke out onto the Nottingham scene as a soul/jazz artist, but over time her sound has evolved and now blurs the lines between genres; creating a unique blend of electropop, alt-rock and r&b.
